Quality Custom Cabinets at Pre-Built Prices

At Boverhof Builders, we build custom cabinetry for our homes with durable materials and careful craftsmanship. Our goal is to provide custom quality at pricing that compares well with pre-built cabinetry.

Cabinet Box Construction:

  • We  build all our cabinets out of 3/4" birch plywood. This includes both sides and back of all our cabinets.

  • Framed Boxes: 1 1/2" Solid Maple or Beech face frames are standard

  • All face frames are pocket screw jointed

Door Construction/Styles:

  • Doors are built from 3/4" maple frame

  • Door centers are 1/2" plywood for stain or MDF for painted.

  • Custom 

Hardware:

  • Blum Full overlay hinges

  • Blum Full extension drawer glides

Finish:

  • Color:

    • Tinted water based lacquer ​for super washability. No paint on our cabinets!

    • 1 surfacer coat 

    • Up to 4 finish coats for glass like finish

  • Stained:

    • Woods Selection:

      • Maple​

      • Birch

      • White Oak

      • Hickory

      • Beech

    • Custom stain samples made to your liking.​

    • Custom Options:

      • Wire brush to expose natural grain​(works best with white oak)

      • White wash

      • Glazing
